Hurling and camogie
Hurling, or camogie, is the most typical sport in Ireland, practically everybody plays it.
The sport is the same, but camogie is the name given to girls' hurling because they change some of the rules.
In my opinion it is a mix between baseball, golf, rugby and football.
You play with a hurley, which is like a flat wooden stick with a paddle at the end to hit the ball.
We went to see a lot of games, but the most important one, which was a final, was the one where some of our Irish teammates were playing, Amy between them, they played very well, but the opposing team was very good and unfortunately they lost.
I really enjoyed learning this new sport, some days the Irish taught us how to play a little bit and I had a great time doing it.
I am very happy to have learnt a new typical sport there, I would recommend everybody to play hurling sometime because it is a lot of fun.
