Cork
We went to Cork on 22 September. Cork is the second largest city in Ireland and is located in the south of the country, on the coast.
All the eramus students went there, we took the train early, but some of our classmates missed the train and had to go by bus and arrived later in the city.
The ones of us who went by train travelled for a while, about half an hour or something like that.
We walked around the centre and went into some well-known shops, such as Mango, Penneys or H&M.
Then we took a walk to the Marina market, which is a very typical market in Cork that is open from Monday to Sunday, because it was getting close to lunchtime and we were hungry.
There we met up with the people who came by bus and had a cheeseburger.
Then we walked around the market and looked at the stalls, they were selling second hand clothes, football and hurling shirts. There were also stalls selling jewellery and handmade soaps and some souvenirs, but most of all there were food stalls.
We had a great day but it was time to catch the bus home, we really enjoyed the day but it was cold, so as soon as we got home we took a warm shower.
