Food
The food has been something that has surprised me a lot since in general they eat very little healthy, pizza, hamburger, fries... And they hardly eat fish and fruits or vegetables. I was very lucky because my family sometimes ate vegetables and potatoes.
The meal schedules are very different from those in Spain, something that has also caught my attention. They have breakfast early, they eat early, they don't have lunch or snack and they have dinner very early, at 5:00 p.m. more or less, although it depends on the day, and dinner is the biggest meal of the day, while breakfast and lunch are lighter, because during the week you eat at work or school, so it is usually something easy and quick to eat.
But on weekends the schedule changes a bit, since they skip the meal and only do what they call Irish Breakfast, which is a very big breakfast and dinner is also big.
In Spain we are usually used to the biggest meal of the day being lunch and dinner is later and eating something lighter, we also eat many more fruits, vegetables and not so much junk food, only specific moments.
